Engine
Water cooled Ford Lehman 6 cylinder 120HP . Top speed of approx 9knts @ 2800 rpm, optimum cruising speed is 8 knots. At this speed fuel consumption is one litre per nautical mile.(4.5 nm per gallon) Fuel is in two tanks each side of the wheelhouse (700 L port [153 galls]/300 L stb [66 galls].), filled from sidedeck fillers, which gives a range of approx. 1000 nautical miles
Steering.
Hydraulic dual steering stations, one in wheelhouse and one on aft deck.
Deck and Superstructure.
100% hand laminated GRP construction Hull; one inch (12.5mm) throughout –that’s one strong layup!. Teak laid deck on GRP. 5.5 ton iron ballast keel, fitted internally and totally encapsulated with GRP.
Electrical.
12 V D.C. Heavy Duty acid batteries. One 210 amp reserved and dedicated for engine starting, two 210 amp (420amp) for services. One 90 amp reserved and dedicated to Generator. (See Inventory).
80 amp alternator. State of the art Victron Dual 50 amp battery charger, linked to Mastervolt battery management system.
Spars and Rigging.
Silver anodised alloy spars with internal halyards, the main and mizzen are deck stepped. The main has Balmar in mast reefing, with gas strut kicker.
Mizzen has Stakpak type system with lazyjacks, and has been specially raised to give full headroom on aft deck. Halyard and reefing winches on both masts.
Standing Rigging :- Main 1x19 Ø 8mm , Mizzen 1x19 Ø 6mm Stainless steel wire. All standing and running rigging was replaced as new in 1995.

Plumbing.
All hull fittings below water line with bronze seacocks. Pressurised water system throughout with Calorifier (plus immersion heater) for hot water.;
Two heads with Lavac Marine toilets, aft heads fitted with Holding Tank.
Anode Protection
Continuity circuit from all skin fittings and prop to Euro size major anode. Seperate anode protection for bowthruster. Two Internal anodes for main engine, and one for generator.
