OWNERS SUITE

With a full size double bed (with a “real” sprung mattress) the Owners suite is the ideal place to end (and start!) the day. The whole of the yacht aft of the wheelhouse belongs to you, just shut the door to enjoy the privacy of this opulent accomodation.

Massive amounts of stowage, three large full length wardrobes, and plenty of drawers and cupboards for clothes and personal possesions mean living on board is pleasure. Six opening ports plus a hatch on to the aft deck make it a light and airy space.

The Owners Cabin also enjoys the privacy of its own “en-Suite” heads and shower room. The full walk-in shower is situated behind the bulkhead/bedhead and also contains the “essential” (according to Helen) washing machine which is just visible in the photo right.

The owners suite is fully carpeted and has full standing headroom throughout. Leather seating near two of the many bookshelves gives yet more privacy when visitors are on board. Radio, CD Player and a Tape deck are also installed..

The en-suite heads combines as a full size walk-in shower room. The floor is mosaic tiles and contains a drain which is connected to an automatic sump for pumping out used water.  A powerful pressurised pump gives you a fantastic shower which competes with the one we have at home!

In the thirteen years we have owned “Unda” we have never had to resort to Marina showers, and that included a whole winter living onboard in Preston.

The same goes for the washing machine.  Installed when we bought the yacht, we thought at first it was a bit of a”Joke”. But golly has it proved it worth, and we take pity on the poor souls we queueing for the Marina machines on a regular basis.

And with all that washing you need somewhere to do the ironing!

The full size ironing board stows neatly in to one of the three wardrobes (the third of which Helen has converted into a shelved airing and Linen cupboard.
